Overview of MANEB

The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) was established in April 1987. Its responsibility includes conducting credible examinations for certification, selection, and placement purposes. In addition, the board offers professional advice concerning assessment and examinations.

Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE)

• The PSLCE is an examination taken by students concluding their primary school studies. This exam also serves as a selection criterion for the Ministry of Education for learners’ admission into all public secondary schools.
